Withering Dunes Travel Encounter

A weathered stone idol can be seen surrounded by offerings (worth 25 gold per hero). If a hero leaves an offering they get a temp boon (10+ gold minor, 100+ gold major). Anyone who steals offerings is cursed with a temp bane. The Bane depends on how much is stolen.

  • All the offerings. => Exhausted: -1 max wounds.
  • At least half the offerings => Distracted: Disadvantage on Initiative.
  • Less than half the offerings => Sluggish: -1 Speed.
